Stockton based record label active between 1994 - 1998. Funk Mobb Records was built around the group Funk Mobb (not to be confused with Funk Mobb from Vallejo) consisting of Ro-D, Chillin Rube, Young Mack-T & Mac Mar. Funk Mobb became D.O.A. (Dead On Arrival) in 1995. Chillin Rube and Mac Mar was replaced with Baby Gator and Lil Squeek. The two new members left the group after Habitual and Mack-T's brother Doo-Lo fresh out of prison joined the group on Tha Recipe. Funk Mobb also released a solo record with Young Mack-T and two compilation albums; Soul Jackers and Funkaffiliated. The last album was distributed by Solar Music Group. Legendary Sacramento based record label founded by Cedric Singleton and Robert Foster in 1989. In the early and mid-90s they released some amazing sac-town classics like Brotha Lynch Hung - 24 Deep & Season Of Da Siccness, X-Raided - Psycho Active & Xcorsist, Gangsta Dre - Gang Bangin Poetry, Mr Doctor - Settrippin Bloccstyle. They also released some great records from out of town rappers/groups like Doomsday Production - XV from Las Vegas, Cold world hustler - Iceland from San Francisco, Foe - Scissorhands from New York and Ncognito - On Da Unda from Pittsburg. The label started to fall apart in 97 when Brotha Lynch Hung left, he claimed that he didn't get payed properly for any of his albums and production work. But they still released a couple of good records between 97-05, like Black Market Records presents - No Face killaz in 98, Nonfiktion - Creative Differences in 99, Nefarious - Speak Of The Devil in 00 and Big Lurch - It's All Bad in 04 ("It's All Bad" was released a month after Big Lurch was sentenced to life in prison for murdering a female and eating parts of her flesh under the influence of PCP).

The Garden Blocc Crip member was after this release convicted on a first degree murder, gang related homicide and received a 31 years to life sentence. X-raided talks about his trials and tribulations on the phone over some great sac-town g-funk.
